How To Find The Best Case Breaker

Most case breakers are upfront and honest, but just like in other industries or businesses, there are also some who are not so trustworthy or reputable. To avoid those who don’t mean business and avoid getting yourself into tricky situations, it’s best that you know how to find the best case breaker, especially if you are new to group breaks.

It’s easy to get caught up in the fun of card breaking. When the excitement of bagging top-notch cards has seized you, you’re likely to throw caution into the wind and enter a deal right then and there. However, it’s best to take a pause and check first if you’ll really be getting your money’s worth. Sports cards can mean serious money, after all.

Here are some things to keep in mind when you go looking for your next case break.

How to Find the Best Case Breaker: 4 Things to Look For

Established Career

Most of the time, how long a company or person has been in the business will tell you if they’re legit and honest to deal with. A card breaker who has been around for years and played host many times will most likely have created an efficient process and become experienced in handling and resolving disputes. The number of years, coupled with the number of customers, is also useful in determining how well they conduct business.

This doesn’t mean though that start-up card breakers aren’t any good; going straight to established case breakers simply makes things a lot easier.

Social Media Presence

Reputable case breakers have a strong social media presence which they use to advertise their business.

Hence, go for those with at least two social media outlets. Why two? Presence in two or more social media channels means more avenues for people who want to leave complaints. So, if you want to see honest, unbiased feedback, check the comments or review sections of those channels.

Plus, social activity is often a sign that the person or company has nothing to hide.

Detailed Website

If you’re a newbie, here’s a tip: always check the website or the break listing. Most card breakers don’t ship anything beyond what is written in the website or listing—and a good case breaker will have such a section completely filled out and easy to see so as to avoid misleading or disappointing sports card collectors.

Also, a great card breaking website will have all the basics, common questions, and essential terms bunched together in something like an FAQ page. Also, the FAQ page will most likely have the individual group break listing and account for when the terms vary with different case breaks.

Good Customer Service

Customer service is what propels or pulls down any business or company, and a case breaker who puts much stock on customer service is great to deal with any day.

To get an idea about how well they do customer service, simply check their Contact Us page. If that page has their phone number, email, contact form, business hours, and social media links, chances are they are serious in handling and resolving any issues that may arise.
